Schemmer is seeking a Manger of Interior Design in Omaha, NE to oversee and coordinate interior design team and projects for the firm. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANAGER of INTERIOR DESIGN
As a member of the Architectural Division, you will be an integral part of our growth strategy. Your main responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating interior design projects within the firm. You’ll provide technical and administrative supervision to other interior designers. On any day, you’ll lead, design, and manage interior design projects to ensure the completion of projects within budget and schedule while satisfying the needs of clients.  Use your creativity to produce innovative solutions for our clients.  You're a great leader and have a keen eye for design, which makes you a great fit for this position!

ABOUT YOU!
  • You have earned your professional interior design certification, NCIDQ, through the National Council for Interior Design Qualification.
  • You have a degree in Interior Design (Masters/BS/BA) or Architecture (Masters/BS/BA) from an accredited university or college.
  • You’ll have accumulated 10 + years of experience with progressive levels of responsibility and a variety of project types in your portfolio.
  • You have proven experience participating in business development efforts which result in earned projects and revenue.
  • You have demonstrated your ability to lead, coordinate and communicate with clients and project team members effectively.
  • You are proficient in Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You have experience with estimating & fee proposals.
  • You are currently authorized to work in the United States.
