A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER
As a member of the transportation engineering department, you are responsible for design and plan production while being directly involved with public and private clients in all areas associated with Roadway Projects. You are successful at managing and designing transportation projects with DOT, City and County agencies while understanding all aspects of this market including financing, government review agencies and end-users. Your ability to be a team player while developing strong client and staff relationships makes you a great fit for this position!
ABOUT YOU!
- You have a BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- You have earned your PE or are on your way to obtaining it in the future.
- You have 2-3 years of transportation/roadway related design including rural and urban streets, highways as well as other transportation related projects
- You have demonstrated your ability to coordinate and communicate with other members of the project team
- You are proficient in design software such as MicroStation or InRoads.
- You are currently authorized to work in the United States
