A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION ADMIN/PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE
As a member of the architecture division, you act as the main liaison between client, contractor and firm project manager for the duration of the construction project. You’ll use your intimate knowledge and thorough understanding of construction contracts, general code knowledge, scheduling, and familiarity with materials, means and methods and processes of construction to ensure successful completion of the project. You’ll stay engaged as you attend job/construction meetings, maintain meeting notes/records and respond to requests for information and submittals. Your ability to negotiate, interpret documents and conduct meetings with clients, contractors and project managers/representatives, makes you a great fit for this position!

ABOUT YOU!
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred
- 5+ years experience preferably in design and construction phase services on commercial construction
- Working knowledge of shop drawing review, RFI, ASI and Change Order processing required.
- Experience with on-site observations required.
- Experience acting as Owner’s representative during construction required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Newforma experience preferred.
