A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SURVEY TECHNICIAN.
As a member of the engineering division, you’ll perform a variety of tasks in collecting, recording, analyzing, and preparing construction and land survey data for property, boundary, and right-of-way; to act as instrument technician on survey teams; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. Your love of field work combined with your training in surveying makes you a great fit for this position!
ABOUT YOU!
- You've earned a high school diploma or GED; additional coursework with Survey/CADD related curriculum preferred.
- You'll have some experience surveying or in other types of field work with a willingness to work in the outdoors.
- You also have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
- You understand there may be exposure to noise, dust and inclement weather conditions.
- You have general computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- You are able to safely meet the physical requirements of the position which includes light to moderate lifting, operating a motor vehicle, prolonged periods of sitting, standing and/or walking.
- You are currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States
